The 2021 Porsche Cayenne lives up to its description as a ‘five-passenger sports car,” but can it really keep up with the indomitable 2022 Range Rover? If you don’t plan on road tripping, don’t need much cargo space, and don’t plan on going off-road, you and your passengers might be satisfied with the Cayenne. If you do need a vehicle that’s ready for anything, the Range Rover deserves your full attention. Our Range Rover vs. Porsche Cayenne matchup has all the details.

Although Porsche does not advertise the interior dimensions of their models, Phoenix and Gilbert drivers can compare the two models on cargo space:
That’s right: the Range Rover is offered with an extended wheelbase (designated LWB) which makes its advantage over the Porsche Cayenne even more significant. Choosing this extension will also increase your second-row legroom from 39.2 inches to 46.8 inches. We’d be surprised if the Porsche Cayenne came anywhere close.
