How Does Land Rover InControl® Work?

Land Rover InControl® has three key systems: Land Rover InControl® Apps, InControl® Wi-Fi, and Connected Navigation. These are the details of what they do:

InControl® Wi-Fi™: Using the AT&T network, Phoenix drivers can access a Wi-Fi hotspot for in-vehicle internet access on up to eight devices at one time. Wi-Fi hardware is added to the vehicle with a mobile SIM card. You receive three months or 3GB of data during the trial period.

Land Rover InControl® Apps: This system integrates your favorite smartphone apps, such as music, podcasts, and calendars. When you connect your phone to the Land Rover media USB port in your vehicle, you can access your favorite apps on your Land Rover touchscreen.

Land Rover Connected Navigation: If your Land Rover comes equipped with the InControl® Touch Pro™ system, you can use Land Rover Connected Navigation to help you navigate the most challenging Gilbert streets. It includes:

• Satellite View and Street View allow you to see Tempe surroundings from different perspectives. 360-degree and panoramic street views are also available in some models.
• Live Apps allows compatible systems to communicate with each other. For example, your navigation system can access your flight information to alert you of changes.
• Real-Time Traffic Flow provides the most up-to-date traffic information available, so you can anticipate issues and choose alternative routes around Chandler.
• Route Planner App door-to-door routing lets you choose a destination on your smartphone and then follow the in-car directions over navigation. Once you exit your car, it gives you pedestrian navigation so that you can find a new shop or point of interest.
• Online Search lets you use Connected Navigation to access your favorite websites like Trip Advisor and Yelp.

Which Land Rover Models Offer Land Rover InControl®?

All new Land Rover models offer InControl® any many also include Touch Pro™, Touch Pro™ Duo, or the new Pivi™ infotainment system.
